The Manual Well is probably one of the very first buildings that you build beause it provides your characters with water. Your characters need water to quench the thirst and for cooking.
Manual Well can be replaced with Automated pump and Drinking spot which needs a Power Plant.
It automatically filters the water if there is a toxic in it but only up to 20% of toxic.
