A Martian Portal appears on the map if you play with Martians on Earth.
Martians will demand a ransom, and you need to deliver it to the portal. If you deliver enough, the Martians will be satisfied, and you’ll have a good relationship with them, allowing you to trade items. If you don't deliver the ransom, Martians will spawn monsters from Martian Monoliths who can attack and destroy your base.
