Planting

This job has manual, semi-automated, and fully automated options same as for Harvesting and Cutting trees. Manual and semi-automated modes are done by characters. The fully automated mode is meant for trains.

For the semi-automation done by characters, pick one of the Automatic modes in the right window or at the bottom Harvest submenu. Manual cut down, harvest, or replant means that you need to click on the plant and select harvest. Automatic cut down, harvest, or replant means that once a plant is fully grown, seeded, or prepared for planting characters will cut it down, harvest, or replant.

For efficient automation using trains is a good practice to select Automatic mode to None or set the priority to Paused. Both will cause characters not to do this job manually so they can focus on other tasks and this one is completely up to trains.
