This Driller can mine any resource from soil, through, coal to platinum ore. If you place at the top of mixed resources, it will mine them ore and you just sort them on belts using Belt pushers.

If you dig out soil and get to the basic layer of the map, the driller can keep mining soil from there infinitely.
